The uvex 5505 is a close-fitting plastic frame. Protective functions are integrated into the frame design. The length and angle of the arms can be adjusted.

**General features**

- Close-fitting plastic frames
- Available in different lens sizes/bridge widths and colours

**Comfort features**

- Good fit with anatomically shaped bridge
- Length and angle of arms individually adjustable, with adjustable soft-form comfort earpieces

**Protection features**

- Certified eye protection to EN 166 (note: due to EN 166 requirements, it is not possible to purchase frames without lenses)
- Side shields and upper eye rim protection are integrated in frame design for an exceptionally close fit
- Specially-shaped frames provide protection against particles from below

**Notes**

- Prescription safety spectacles are certified to EN 166 and protect spectacle wearers in workplaces where protective eyewear is required. uvex prescription safety spectacles are available only as complete spectacles.
