Whichever option you choose, your hearing protection must be used correctly to ensure optimum protection.
Correctly inserting disposable earplugs
- Briefly roll the uvex disposable earplugs between your fingers.
- Reach over your head with your arm and gently pull the ear up, so that the ear canal is straight.
- Insert uvex earplugs and briefly hold them in place. If the earplugs cannot be seen from the front, they are in the right position.
Disposable earplugs are thrown away after each use.
Correctly inserting and cleaning reusable earplugs

- Hold the ends of the uvex reusable earplugs and place the cord behind your head.
- Using gentle pressure, insert the earplugs into the ear canal.

We recommend simply cleaning your earplugs with the uvex moist cleaning cloth, or cleaning them with water and mild soap. When you are not using your reusable earplugs, you should store them in the uvex Hygiene Box, so that the earplugs remain clean and undamaged until the next use.
