EcoVadis
EcoVadis is an established provider of sustainability ratings for companies. More than 95,000 companies in 200 industries and 175 countries now use the evaluation. Based on the information provided, the platform uses 21 indicators to comprehensively analyse the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
The rating agency’s questionnaires are adapted to the respective industry, company size and country to enable an industry-specific assessment. Scorecards summarise the results and thus support companies in transparently presenting their sustainability performance validated by an external party. EcoVadis evaluates companies in comparison to each other.
This relative rating promotes constructive competition and motivates companies to continuously improve their sustainability performance – in order to maintain or further expand their medal.
There are four medal levels that companies can receive as a result: platinum, gold, silver and bronze.
At uvex
uvex Cagi, our Italian production site for safety footwear, has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal – with 84 points and a particularly high rating in the area of the environment, it ranks among the top 1% of companies assessed worldwide.
The uvex safety group also achieved a strong result: with EcoVadis Gold certification and 78 points, it ranks among the top 5% of all companies assessed. This is a clear signal of our commitment to sustainability throughout the entire company!
