What are the protective properties of uvex safety sandals?
Safety sandals of classes S1 P, S1 PL and S1 PS also protect against injuries caused by sharp objects with metallic or textile penetration resistance. The lightweight safety sandals for women and men are available in different colors.
Can I use my orthopaedic insoles in uvex safety sandals?
Private insoles or independent adjustments are not permitted, as they can impair the protective effect of the shoes. This is confirmed by DGUV rule 112-191. uvex safety shoes with orthopaedic adaptations by uvex medicare undergo the same test procedures as the other models without fitting and are therefore certified in accordance with the applicable safety standards.
If you wear orthopaedic insoles and would also like to use them in your safety shoes, uvex medicare has three solutions for you:
- Orthopaedic comfort custom-made insoles: : These insoles cushion, support and support the rolling movement of the foot optimally and are individually adapted.
- Individual shoe finishing: Our master orthopaedic shoemakers develop the following special solutions that are DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259 compliant:
- Shoe elevation
- Sole roller
- Butterfly roller
- Inner or outer edge elevation of the outsole
