Effective 1 September 2026, Dr Jan Allmann has been appointed Co-CEO of the uvex Group, alongside Stefan Brück, and he has also assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of uvex Safety Europe.

The uvex RX cd 5528 prescription safety spectacles, the uvex OTG plus overspecs and the uvex hypervision protection system were recognised for combining outstanding design with functionality and a strong focus on user needs.

A great honour for the uvex safety group: on 6 February 2026, the German manufacturer of personal protective equipment received the German Design Award for its newly developed uvex pheos nxt guard safety spectacles. The spectacles impress above all with their directly moulded frame.
