Is the trial free of charge and without obligation?
The trial is in any case without obligation; it does not give cause for any further commitments. We generally provide individual samples free of charge; however, in the case of trials involving high-priced products or larger quantities, costs may be incurred, which we will, of course, set out transparently in advance.
Who can take part – for example, only companies above a certain size?
This offer is directed exclusively at companies with 50 or more employees.
For which sectors or areas of application is the trial intended?
Wherever personal protective equipment is required, a trial is both useful and feasible. We offer PPE from head to toe – from safety helmets to safety footwear – across all sectors.
How many employees or test participants can take part?
This is usually agreed on a case-by-case basis with the client. However, the test group must remain manageable; the aim at this stage is not to equip the entire company.
How many models are typically tested?
Usually, one or two models that are assessed as suitable (in various sizes) are tested initially. Depending on the feedback, it may then be worthwhile to test further samples.
How long does the trial phase last?
Two to four weeks should be sufficient to test the products thoroughly and provide uvex with feedback.
Are there any postage, return or other costs involved?
Participating companies do not incur any postage costs for the provision of samples.
Do test products have to be returned?
No.
How quickly will we be contacted?
Initial contact will be made on the same working day, or at the latest the following day, from Monday to Friday between 7 am and 4 pm.
Who oversees the product test: a product specialist, a field sales representative or a retailer?
The product test is overseen by the uvex sales team via telephone. For larger-scale test set-ups, the uvex field sales team will also visit the participating companies in person on site, if requested.
What do I receive at the end: a recommendation, test evaluation, quotation or documentation?
In a final meeting, uvex discusses the testers’ feedback with the participating company and provides a recommendation. Upon request, uvex will then draw up a quotation; however, companies may also contact their preferred retail partners to purchase the tested products.
