One for all: uvex vimox visor – compatible with a wide range of helmet models
Don’t use a uvex safety helmet, but still want to benefit from our unique lens technology? Then uvex vimox is the solution for you. This system brings the popular features of our visors to almost all standard helmet models on the market.
Outstanding ergonomics are at the heart of every single product we develop. A comfortable fit should provide the wearer with relief. That’s why we integrated a key feature of our pheos visor range into the uvex vimox visor system – the resting position. If the visor is not actively in use, it can either be removed completely using the uvex click & pull system or alternatively pushed into the resting position – no matter which helmet the vimox is used with. The optimal centre of gravity is located in the middle of the head to support the natural posture of the neck and significantly reduce strain.
uvex vimox visor: the features
The uvex vimox’s unique connection system optimally adapts to a wide range of helmets and is easy to fit. Simply snap it onto the front brim of your helmet, secure it and you’re on your way.
The visor can be pulled off the connection system at any time and reattached with a click. Ideal for making the helmet a little easier to use when the visor is not needed.
Our extra-large visor lens offers maximum all-round visibility and is even scratch-resistant on the outside and anti-fog on the inside thanks to the uvex supravision excellence coating. UV 400 protection and the highest optical class are included as standard.
If the visor is damaged or has been in use for too long, it can be removed from the connection system by means of a screw and replaced.
The durable non-slip elastic strap provides a secure fit on any helmet and can be used to easily adjust the width.
Every helmet is different. The additional soft sealing lip means that the vimox always seals completely on a variety of helmets – so nothing can come between the helmet and visor.
