An extremely robust work shoe that can withstand temperatures up to 300°C: The new uvex 3 asphaltpro is a heat-insulating S3 safety boot designed specifically for tarmac work. A range of features—such as the virtually seam-free construction, ergonomic outsole and comfortable insole—ensure a comfortable fit for the entire working day.

When working with tarmac, e.g. during road construction work, both the employee and the materials are exposed to extreme conditions, making professional personal protective equipment absolutely indispensable. With the new uvex 3 asphaltpro, uvex has designed a S3 safety boot specifically for use in these conditions: Its innovative rubber MACSOLE® and thermoregulating lining materials provide optimum protection against extreme heat.

Heat resistance up to 300°C

Independent tests have shown that the new uvex 3 asphaltpro with 100% metal-free protective toe cap has a heat resistance of up to 300°C and is insulated up to temperatures of 250°C. Its water-resistant leather with uvex waterstop technology also offers reliable protection during rain or cleaning work.

The non-slip sole and anatomically shaped heel basket provide additional protection against twisted ankles, especially on uneven surfaces. Reflective side strips increase visibility, especially in poorly lit working environments.

Extremely versatile — maximum comfort

Despite its extreme durability, the functional safety boot also has an impressive level of wearer comfort: A newly developed last and ergonomic sole supports the natural range of motion while walking, while the shoe's virtually seamless construction prevents pressure points. Breathable materials ensure a comfortable foot climate, even if the boots are worn for long periods of time.
