The most innovative companies in Germany 2020: uvex safety gloves wins award from business magazine Capital
Well-established German business magazine, Capital, and the market leader in data collection and analysis, Statista, identified the most innovative companies in Germany using a comprehensive expert survey. The protective glove manufacturer UVEX SAFETY Gloves GmbH & Co. KG, based in Lüneburg, was among the winners, securing the prize in the "Manufacturer of consumer goods in the 251 to 1000 employees category" for the Products & services innovation class. This is a wonderful confirmation of uvex's commitment to both Germany and the "Made in Germany" merchandise mark.
Alongside uvex safety gloves, other winners in this category included Nike Deutschland, Samsung Electronics Deutschland and Emsa. The study covered a total of 1781 companies across 20 categories, 3 size categories and the innovation classes products & services, process innovations and corporate culture. Representatives from award-winning innovative companies and industry experts with at least six years of experience in leadership positions were called upon to pick the final winners. The winners were picked from over 3000 reviews.
uvex safety gloves has been based in Lüneburg for more than 30 years. The company now operates Europe's largest CO2-neutral protective glove production facility and the uvex group hand protection centre of expertise.
